Thanks to my friends that came to the race!!! Times are tough & I needed the support from my fellow racers. Thanks to Jim Hahn for making the long trip from Oklahoma- the only out-of-towner! Thanks to Ted Pace & Scott pace who brought their friend Gordon to race Box Stocks. Ted has been my best friend since Kathleen's death & I couldn't & wouldn't had continued w/o his steadfast help. Thanks to my long time friend Gary Puetz who has been a constant friend & competitor for oh so many years. Thanks to my new customer & friend Mike Matero who has been nothing but helpful as well as loaning me an automobile for a couple of weeks when my Honda's transmission went out. He's stepped up in working on the track from Shelby who's busy w/ baseball most the time now. Thanks to my LONG time friend David Etheridge who make the 'license plate ' style plaques & Dash Plaques as well that are as neat as any I've ever seen celebrating the history of Broadway Hobbies which my shop traces from in great RETRO style. Thanks to Scott Taylor who I've known since before Craig even owner the business from 1974 when I got into Slot Cars. He made the flyer & named the "alternate' name of the race so Honeycutt wouldn't ridicule Ted's original name of the race..."The Keep P.A. In Business Race" Thanks for all the sponsors of this race who gave $$$'s to make it successful regardless of who came or who didn't: Bill Skinner of Stupid Fast/Thunder Rubber products,Earl Quillen of Coolman's Raceway Bill Frost of BS Raceway, Archie King, Gary Puetz, Ted Pace, & Diana Dyckman who put up money for the 'closest to the line' award!!! Again special thanks to David Etheridge who took the idea of the race & ran w/ it pulling me along, out of the fog of disappointment & disillusionment as the Slot Car business has been in such a funk over the last seven years. Since there was no Open race, several of us got to sit around & talk Slot Cars for about an hour sort of like we used to do when Broadway Hobbies was rollin' when I got into racing.

I want to thank my good friend Mr. PA Watson for putting on such a memorable event that will be remembered for the rest of everyone's life and the fun and they all had enjoying everyone's company. This is what slot car racing is all about and with the throwback race it hit the nail on the head...
