Nice "South Texas Scale Series" header above by David, but if you're eagle-eyed and know the 2019 schedule, there won't be a race at Coolman's.
There's a great King at Coolman's, one that's actually suitable for scale cars, and owner Earl Quillen's a great guy, but George put the schedule together over the late winter assuming that Coolman's would not have recovered yet from Hurricane Harvey. The good news is that Earl was ready for TSRA wing cars a couple of weeks ago, and everything I've heard about the track and the shop relative to recovery from Harvey is very positive.
However, the five remaining races on the 2019 schedule are set at Magnatech, Capitol City, and PA's Slot Cars LLC. Running more than six races in a series has not worked well over the last four or five years in terms of maintaining turnout and with that in mind and commitments already made, I don't have plans at this moment to add a seventh 2019 race at Coolman's (or anywhere else, actually).
If it turns out that Magnatech, Capitol City, or Slot Cars LLC can't host one of their scheduled series races, you can count on me getting hold of Earl and trying to schedule a replacement at Coolman's.
In the meantime, when you have a chance, get to Coolman's and try out your scale cars on the King. It's very fast but with these cars, not a full-punch drone. Lots of fun. Take some 22 to 28 hardness Wonder Rubber tires, though, because fish tires will be ground to nothing in no time, and likely burn up a motor.
